Advertising Medicine is a concept that aims to change people's health behaviors by combining medical information with the design and activation techniques of the advertising communication industry. In June, Dentsu Inc. and Yokohama City University held an interactive seminar introducing Advertising Medicine at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France, attracting significant attention.
In the healthcare market, expected to expand due to an aging population and rising medical costs, the use of information and communication technology is gaining attention. However, equally important is communication that motivates consumers to actively engage in health-building. As more people find themselves thinking, "I know I should do that for my health... but I just can't seem to do it," creativity in how medical information is conveyed becomes essential.
Advertising communication is also gaining attention as one way to address societal challenges.
