According to the Publication Information Bureau (PIB) of the Magazine Publishers of America, advertising pages in monthly and weekly magazines for the third quarter of this year decreased by 1.8% compared to the same period last year. However, this decline was less severe than the 4.8% decrease in the first quarter and the 4.5% decrease in the second quarter. Magazine advertising pages from January to October decreased by 3.8% compared to the same period last year.
Tablet magazine ad pages increased 17.5% year-over-year in Q3 and rose 22% from the beginning of the year through Q3.
