Publication of the book "Higo Mokkosu: How They Fought"

On February 13, 2015, "The 'Higo Mokkosu' Spirit: How They Fought" (Published by Nippon Kogyo Shimbun; Distributed by Sankei Shimbun Publishing) was released.
This book focuses on two individuals from Hikawa Town, Yatsushiro District, Kumamoto Prefecture, whose stories are still recounted in political and business circles today.

One is Seiro Mitsunaga (1866-1945), who founded "Nippon Kōkoku," the predecessor to advertising agency Dentsu Inc.
The other is Uchida Kōsai (1865-1936), who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs for a long period during the turbulent Meiji, Taishō, and Shōwa eras.
These two men developed a deep friendship and shared experiences that would shape the subsequent destiny of Dentsu Inc.
This book is a long-form work that, through the life of a "Higo Mokkosu" (a term for a strong-willed person from Higo), passionately questions the meaning of hard work for modern people. It also unravels the "secret story of the birth" of Dentsu Inc.
