The Hideo Yoshida Memorial Foundation launched a 50th-anniversary commemorative website on March 31, featuring audio recordings of the voice of Hideo Yoshida, Dentsu Inc.'s fourth president.
Hideo Yoshida dedicated himself to modernizing advertising in postwar Japan and was known as the "Advertising Demon." The site features not only his voice recordings but also content titled "Carry 'Hideo Yoshida's Words Now' on Your Smartphone , " which traces his passion, dedication, and challenges in advertising.
Additionally, the site features special projects including the history of the foundation established to carry on Yoshida's legacy, and "Essay: The Flower of Advertising" by advertising critic Yoshiro Okada, which explores the essence of advertising from the Edo period to the present through the collections of the AD Museum Tokyo (ADMT) in Shiodome.
A new section titled "Discover! ADMT Treasures" is also planned, where prominent figures from various fields will select and introduce their "personal favorite advertisements" from the ADMT collection.
