Dentsu Inc.'s overseas headquarters, Dentsu Aegis Network, has reached an agreement with shareholders of Israeli digital agency abaGada Internet Ltd. (hereafter "abaGada Internet") to acquire 100% of its shares. This move aims to strengthen digital services and enhance presence in Israel and surrounding countries.
Founded in 2010, abaGada Internet Ltd. excels not only in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for search engine strategies but also in digital performance marketing. This involves understanding various internal and external factors, such as analyzing customer and user behavior, to drive results. It also provides diverse services, including SEM (Search Engine Marketing) to increase visitors from search engines to owned media (such as corporate websites), and content creation and distribution for owned media linked with social media. While many of its customers are companies operating within Israel, it provides services to multinational corporate customers in 40 countries across EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa).
Israel is home to numerous outstanding venture companies and is often referred to as the second Silicon Valley, reflecting its well-established reputation for technological innovation. Abagada Internet also possesses high technical and development capabilities. Consequently, the Dentsu Group plans to position the company as a hub for digital technology in surrounding countries and regions.
Until now, the Dentsu Group's services in Israel were delivered through Carat, a global network brand and media communications agency. Following this acquisition, Avagada Internet will be renamed iProspect, another Dentsu Group global network brand specializing in digital performance. This change will strengthen collaboration with Carat in the media and digital domains.
