The Wearable Banana was developed for runners participating in the "Tokyo Marathon 2015" held on February 22nd. It is the world's first "edible wearable device" worn on the wrist. It displayed finish times, heart rates, supportive messages retrieved from Twitter, and locations along the marathon course where Dole's "Premium Banana" was available. By generating significant buzz, it aimed to increase awareness of Dole bananas, winning awards in both the Sponsorship and Event Management categories.

"Communicating: A Guide to PR in Japan" has been the only English-language publication explaining Japan's PR landscape since its first edition was published in 1988. This time, the 7th edition published in 2014 won in the Publications category. It goes beyond being a mere collection of media data, explaining Japan-specific PR practices influenced by Japanese media customs, cultural and social backgrounds, and laws, using case studies. The cover design was also completely renewed from the 6th edition.

The Grand Prix winner will be selected from all award recipients and announced on September 28.
