Mitsukoshi Isetan Holdings launched the web lifestyle and fashion magazine "ANNA SUI MAG." on August 13. Created to express gratitude to Japanese fans and to connect with new ones ahead of the 20th anniversary of the ANNA SUI fashion brand's arrival in Japan in 2016. It will regularly deliver articles enjoyable to a wide audience, from fashion-savvy individuals to industry professionals. These include "Trendy ○○" featuring trend information from New York, the brand's birthplace, and shopping insights from Tokyo's stylish crowd; "Social Fashion Trends," analyzing fashion-related Twitter data to examine trends and emerging signs from the four major fashion weeks and by city; and interviews with fashion influencers. Additionally, it will offer diverse content and features, including a social hub function that centrally collects ANNA SUI-related topics, coordinate images, and item photos posted on social media worldwide like Twitter and Instagram, as well as a social commerce function that allows purchasing products linked to social media.
Starting August 26th, ANNA SUI MAG. will host "SELECT!", a fan-participation social event where fans help produce new ANNA SUI products for 2016. Over 50 compelling candidate products will be entered, including items designed from scratch by ANNA SUI herself and reissues of past popular items, all designed to meet fan expectations. Readers can vote for the designs they want to see. The top 20 designs with the most votes will be actually produced for the 2016 Spring/Summer season. Readers who vote will also be eligible for special benefits, such as a chance to win the products via lottery.
