Supporting the Future Samurai Japan Team: JA Mutual Aid and Skylark Sponsor the Japan Little League Baseball Association

The National Mutual Aid Agricultural Cooperative Federation (JA Mutual Aid) and Skylark have recently been selected as new partners for the Japan Little League Baseball Association.

The association continues to provide children with opportunities to develop healthy bodies and minds that can thrive globally through baseball, a team sport deeply rooted in Japanese culture.

This sponsorship supports these activities, backing Little League—Japan's most traditional youth hardball organization with 12 federations and approximately 270 leagues nationwide.

Additionally, JA Mutual Insurance has become the title partner for three tournaments hosted by the association: the All-Japan Championship Tournament, the Intermediate All-Japan Championship Tournament, and the National Selection Tournament.

JA Kyosai commented, "Baseball is a sport that fosters team bonds. We believe this aligns with our business philosophy of 'mutual aid and support.' By supporting Little League, we aim to contribute to the healthy and sound development of youth."

Sukairaku also commented, "Children grow through the joy of winning and the frustration of losing. We want to support the children and build deep bonds."

Japan Little League Baseball Association Chairman Minoru Sakatani stated, "Little League focuses on activities that introduce young children to baseball and on promoting the sport. We are confident that supporting Little League, which has been a pioneer in international activities, will contribute to supporting the entire Japanese baseball community."

With many Little League alumni still active in baseball today, and baseball and softball set to return as Olympic sports for the 2020 Tokyo Games, attention on the league is likely to grow even more.
