Fundraising for the Kobe Luminarie event
The Kobe Luminarie Organizing Committee Secretariat will hold the 21st edition of the illumination event " Kobe Luminarie " from December 4th to 13th. Ahead of this, starting November 2nd, as a new initiative this year, they are running a project on the donation-based crowdfunding platform " Japan Giving " to raise funds for the event (until December 31st).

Kobe Luminarie has been held since December 1995, the year of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, as a memorial for the victims and to express dreams and hopes for the city's recovery and regeneration. Since then, it has become a year-end tradition in Kobe, attracting approximately 3.44 million visitors last year.
Supporters who contribute via crowdfunding will receive original merchandise based on their donation amount.
