Dentsu Inc. agrees to acquire an additional 95% stake in Ireland's OOH advertising specialist "PML Group"

Posterscope, a global network brand and overseas subsidiary of Dentsu Inc. specializing in the OOH (Out of Home Media: outdoor/transportation advertising) sector, announced on November 13th that it has reached an agreement with shareholders to acquire an additional 95% stake in PML Group, an Irish advertising company specializing in OOH. As Dentsu Inc. Aegis Network, Dentsu Inc.'s overseas headquarters, already holds 5% of PML Group's shares, this agreement will make PML Group a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Founded in 1982, PML Group has over 30 years of history. Its subsidiaries include PML, the largest player in Ireland's OOH industry; Source out of home Ireland, established in 2008 as its second division; and Poster Audit Bureau, which monitors ad placements. Leveraging its proprietary integrated database and effectiveness measurement methodology developed based on past campaign examples, the group provides one-stop services from OOH planning to execution tailored to client needs. Its high-quality services are highly regarded by both domestic and international clients.

Currently, the Dentsu Group operates Carat and Vizeum as media service brands, iProspect and Isobar as digital brands, and Posterscope as its OOH brand in Ireland. This acquisition significantly strengthens its OOH capabilities.
