The Public Interest Incorporated Association Nitten is holding the art exhibition " Reorganization: New 2nd Nitten " at the National Art Center, Tokyo in Minato Ward from October 30 to December 6. Today, November 12, during the exhibition period, is Nitten Day. Admission is free.
To coincide with this day, a new initiative, " Nitten × Literature: Collaboration Between Japanese Beauty and Young Writers, " has launched on the official website to encourage more people to enjoy the Nitten.
Five young writers gaining attention in the literary field have created works inspired by pieces exhibited at the Nitten. Visitors can enjoy collaborations: Japanese Painting × Masato Tamaru (short-short story writer), Western Painting × Saki Kamino (haiku poet), Sculpture × Yūko Fumizuki (poet), Craft Art × Ayaka Satō (haiku poet), and Calligraphy × Ayako Kimura (writer).
By connecting art and literature, it brings new perspectives to appreciating each other's work and breathes fresh air into the beauty of the Nitten.
