"Giga 200" Performs CM Song New Members Joining!?

On March 22, SoftBank held a live event at Venus Fort Church Plaza in Koto Ward, Tokyo, to showcase the CM song for its "Giga Student Discount." This discount targets new subscribers aged 25 and under and their families. They can choose either a benefit increasing their data allowance by a total of approximately 200 gigabytes under the flat-rate packet service, or a discount making the monthly basic fee for the White Plan free for three years.

A viewing area was set up at the venue, drawing about 150 enthusiastic fans. As the countdown to the live performance began, the venue erupted in murmurs. When the 14 members of the PR unit "Giga 200," composed of Nogizaka46 members, appeared, loud cheers filled the air.

The members, dressed in the commercial's costumes and performing the choreography exactly as in the commercial, gave the live debut of the song "200 Giga Agechau," energizing the venue.

While the members were greeting the audience on stage, comedian Kintaro made a surprise entrance from the wings, dancing with sharp, precise moves. Using his real name, he introduced himself in a cute voice: "Hello, I'm Shiho Tanaka of Nogizaka46!" This sparked a "Shiho-chan!" chant from the audience, leaving him beaming with delight. When the host questioned whether Kintarō was actually a member, he insisted, referencing the campaign, "I'm a new addition, joining both Nogizaka46 and Giga 200!" Later, when the members announced Nogizaka46's national tour, Kintarō declared he would participate too. However, he was rejected after the members pointed out the difference in their face sizes, drawing laughter.

As a surprise for the audience, those who caught the colored balls thrown by the members and Kintaro received a signed "Giga Student Discount" poster.
