Takara Shuzo Beautiful women and handsome men toast with "Mio"!

Takara Shuzo has appointed actress Mao Inoue and actor Hiroshi Tamaki as the new CM characters for "Shochikubai Shirakabe Kura 'Mio' Sparkling Sake." The TV commercial "Two Mio" began airing on April 22. The two mature actors express the premium world of "Mio."

Preceding this, a new commercial launch event was held on the 21st at Roppongi Hills in Minato Ward, Tokyo, with Inoue and Tamaki attending as guests. The sofa and carpet on stage were actually used during filming. Freelance announcer Masahiro Sasaki skillfully hosted the talk segment.

Inoue, who personally enjoys Mio, remarked, "When I got the offer for this liquor commercial, I truly felt I'd become an adult." Tamaki added, "I'm delighted to become the face of a product I've known for a long time." The two, appearing together for the first time, shared their impressions: "I thought, 'Wow, suits really suit him!'" and "She's a woman with such mature charm." They revealed they bonded during filming by sharing common experiences from their morning drama days.

Regarding Mio, Tamaki noted, "It pairs well not just with Japanese cuisine, but also with French and Italian dishes." Inoue, who drinks almost daily, added, "It's perfect as an aperitif or for toasts."

The two ended up answering Sasaki's probing questions about private matters like "I drink alone" and "My room is messy," leading to wry smiles. Sasaki also made them laugh by mistakenly calling Inoue "Mio-san" and adding unnecessary comments, making for a consistently fun talk. Sasaki concluded, "I hope you both continue to shine and thrive like Mio forever."

Following the presentation, a one-day-only public tasting event, "Mio BAR," was held at the venue. Alongside Mio tastings, it featured a photo corner with the sofa used in the commercial, an experience corner for the official Instagram "mio_sparkling," and an AR app allowing attendees to toast with Inoue and Tamaki. The event drew large crowds.
