Alsoa Limited-time store featuring products produced by Asada-san also available for purchase

Arsoa Headquarters, which researches, develops, manufactures, and sells cosmetics and health foods, is operating a limited-time pop-up store, "Arsoa Pop-Up House," at Omotesando Hills in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, from June 17 to July 10.

At the opening press conference held there on June 20th, President Reiko Takiguchi spoke about figure skater Mao Asada, a long-time user of the facial soap "Arsoa Queen Silver." She stated, "This store was born from Ms. Asada's wish for more people to know about the product and our desire to further support her as she returns to active competition."

Asada, dressed in chic fashion, appeared on stage as the store's one-day manager.

Asada commented on the store, saying, "With white as the base color, it has a refreshing finish like Alsoa, and it's wonderful." She explained the appeal of Queen Silver is "the soft, fluffy lather and the clean, bouncy finish," sharing why she has continued using it for 10 years since she was 16.

 

The store will also sell a limited edition Queen Silver package inspired by costumes Asada wore in competition. Asada introduced her dazzling costumes from the Sochi Olympics and the 2015 season's free and short programs, saying, "They'll be displayed in the store, so please come by and see the details."

On stage, staff demonstrated "lathering" techniques, with Asada instructing on creating "elastic, creamy foam." Holding the finished lather, Asada smiled and remarked, "I want to wash my face right now."

Regarding her return to active competition, Asada expressed a positive outlook: "Last season was nerve-wracking, but I identified areas for improvement. I've already started training for this season." She also mentioned she will perform alongside her sister Mai in an ice show this July. As part of ongoing plans, she revealed she is collaborating with ALSOA to create costumes for this season's exhibition performances.

Finally, Asada stated, "The store also has a touch-and-try corner where you can experience Queen Silver's fine-textured foam, so please stop by."
