The "Tokyo 2020 JAPAN HOUSE" (operated by the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the Japanese Olympic Committee, and the Japan Paralympic Committee) in Rio de Janeiro's Bacha district is proving popular.
With daily medal wins, the medalist press conferences held inside the venue for the Japanese Olympic Team are also drawing large crowds. At the press conference on August 18 local time, men's table tennis team silver medalists Jun Mizutani, Koki Niwa, and Masaharu Yoshimura appeared. Mizutani commented, "I didn't have much confidence before. Beating the German and Chinese players gave me confidence," and "For Tokyo 2020, I need to level up even more. I want to train hard for the next four years," showing his determination for Tokyo 2020.
