Notice Regarding Changes in Representative Directors and President and Chief Executive Officers

 

We hereby announce that at a Board of Directors meeting held today, it was resolved that President and Representative Director Nao Ishii will resign as President and Executive Officer and relinquish his representative authority; that current Vice President and Executive Officer Shoichi Nakamoto and current Senior Managing Director and Executive Officer Yoshio Takada will be granted representative authority; and that current Managing Executive Officer Toshihiro Yamamoto will be appointed as the succeeding President and Executive Officer.

Nao Ishii will continue to fulfill his duties as a Director until the expiration of his term (at the conclusion of the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for March 2017), even after resigning as President and Representative Director.

The brief biographies of the two newly appointed Representative Directors and the President and Chief Executive Officer are as follows. All appointments will take effect on January 23 of this year.
