"Boss Latte Base Melt-in-Your-Mouth Chocolate" A "drinkable dessert" you can easily enjoy at home.

Suntory Beverage & Food International held the "BOSS LATTE BASE × WIRED CAFE SPECIAL CAFE Launch Event" on January 16 at Marunouchi Café × WIRED CAFE in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.

"BOSS LATTE BASE" is a concentrated coffee that allows you to easily make café-style lattes simply by mixing it with three times the amount of milk. The new "BOSS LATTE BASE Melting Chocolate" flavor will be released on January 24.

Katsunari Fuchino of the Food Business Division explained, "Café lattes at shops are made by diluting a small amount of espresso coffee with plenty of milk. Simply adding milk to regular bottled coffee won't achieve that café flavor." He introduced the new product, stating, "This new item allows you to easily make the popular sweet-style latte, Café Mocha, at home."

At Marunouchi Café × WIRED CAFE Marunouchi, three original menu items using "Boss Latte Base" will be offered for a limited time until January 23 (excluding the 20th). Additionally, a campaign to receive an original mug will be held.

Actor Masataka Kubota, who appears in Boss brand commercials, appeared as a guest on stage.

Kubota commented on the "Melt-in-Your-Mouth Chocolate," saying, "Its gentle sweetness is exactly what I crave most right now," and confessed to being a huge sweet tooth, sharing stories like finishing a jumbo-sized parfait.

When challenged to make a "Melt-in-Your-Mouth Chocolate Latte," Kubota seemed pressured by the MC's explanation: "The ratio of latte base to milk is 1:3. That's all there is to it." He cautiously began, saying, "That's all...? Well, I'll make sure to stick to that ratio..." but ended up pouring too much and failing.

"Should I just sip it through a straw? Should I replace it? I totally messed it up. Sorry," he said with a wry smile before trying again. He successfully made the "Iced Melt-in-Your-Mouth Chocolate Latte" with the perfect ratio, commenting, "It has a mature feel. It's mellow and aromatic—a 'drinkable dessert'. It's incredibly easy to make and delicious."
