The setting isa 24-hour dry cleaning shop called "Laundry Snow"in a certain town . It's a mysterious love story where shop owner Takahashi and a customer played by Takei (in a dual role) meet, sparked by a "stain on a white dress." The two dramas culminate into one larger story. Though both episodes share the same setting, the completely different expressions and mannerisms in the morning and night parts draw viewers into the drama's world.

Directed byTanada Yuki, who debuted in 2001 and has won numerous awards, she commented on the drama: "The concept was 'Continuing to wish for something will eventually make something happen, like magic.' Falling in love can feel like being tossed about by others, yet it's also inseparable from being bound by your own feelings. I wanted to craft these themes into a bittersweet, beautiful adult fantasy."
Costume design is by renowned designer Takayuki Suzuki. The fashion, expressing a monochrome worldview, is also a highlight.
The theme song comes from the popular band " never young beach ,"known for blending traditional Japanese rock with international sounds.Theirrock 'n' roll number " SURELY " is used impressively during the drama's end credits.
