The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government designated the approximately one-month period bridging October 28 and November 29—marking 1,000 days until the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games—as the "1000 Days to Go!" month.
During this period, various initiatives will be implemented in collaboration with Tokyo's wards, cities, towns, and villages, municipalities nationwide, and partner companies, including countdown events.
As part of this, the "My Participation Pledge Campaign," a nationwide gift campaign offering chances to win special experiences, began on October 20.
