Pietro launched its new TV commercial "Want to Be Number One Nationwide" featuring Nozomi Sasaki, now in her seventh year as brand ambassador, on October 27th in the Kanto region. The commercial features Sasaki, speaking in her native Akita dialect, asking a couple living in Akita about Pietro dressing's reputation. Shifting from the playful vibe of her previous commercial where she wore a rabbit costume, viewers can now enjoy the contrast between Sasaki's elegant expression and her heartwarming dialect.
The 15-second commercial comes in three versions featuring different reactions from Sasaki. Three recipes using Pietro dressing are also introduced.
Though it was Sasaki's first time appearing in a commercial using the Akita dialect, on set, she showed a deep affection and strong commitment to the language of her birthplace. While smiling fondly at her hometown dialect when reviewing lines beforehand, she also suggested, "Could we change this line to something a bit easier to say?" when encountering slightly awkward phrasing. Incidentally, the line "Ai~, shigadane" at the end of the 30-second commercial was Sasaki's ad-libbed addition, not originally scripted.

Reflecting on the shoot, Sasaki stated, "I consciously aimed for an Akita dialect that people from Akita would find convincing. I'm nervous to see if Akita locals will say 'That's good.' I'd be happy if many people see it."
