Dentsu ScienceJam Inc. launched the first product in its "LIRICOTORICO" series of sock-type cosmetics on December 19th. These socks utilize the new functional fiber "Raffinan," which prevents skin roughness and provides moisture.
"LIRICOTORICO" is a coined word combining the French terms for lyric poetry (lyrique) and fabric (tricot) with the Japanese meaning "to become captivated." It embodies a brand that prioritizes "emotional value" and aims to capture the hearts of users and consumers.
The new functional material "Raffinan" used in the socks is Japan's first wearable cosmetic developed by Teijin Frontier, which promotes healthy skin through its beauty ingredient (malic acid). The socks are washable like regular clothing.
*As a cosmetic product for innerwear
