Dentsu Inc. Launches Project to Produce Japanese Crafts That Sell Globally

― First Release: 73 Products Designed in Collaboration with Tetris® ―

Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshihiro Yamamoto) and RITTA Artisan LLC (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuya Nagae), which specializes in craft production and building networks in craft-producing regions, have launched a joint project to produce and market Japanese crafts that sell globally.

This project combines Japanese craftsmanship with new elements to create innovative products that honor tradition while appealing globally. It begins by utilizing intellectual property for which Dentsu Inc. holds commercialization rights. The first phase features 73 products designed in collaboration with the globally renowned game "TETRIS®". To commemorate World Tetris Day on June 6, these items will be sold for a limited time from Thursday, May 31 to Wednesday, June 6 at the art gallery "Art Glorieux" on the 5th floor of GINZA SIX. Following this, they will be available for regular sale at the store "THE COVER NIPPON" on the 3rd floor of Tokyo Midtown (Roppongi).

Moving forward, our company will continue to leverage influential intellectual property not only within Japan but globally to introduce Japanese crafts that sell worldwide. Simultaneously, through these projects, we aim to nurture young craft technicians and contribute to the preservation of Japanese craftsmanship.
