On June 4, Nomura Kogei, a major player in spatial design, planning, production, and construction, signed a contract with the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee and was designated an Official Supporter of Tokyo 2020.
The contract covers the design, planning, and construction of internal spaces and exhibition spaces.
President Shuji Enomoto commented, "Since our founding, we have contributed to society through our mission of 'creating spaces that provide joy and inspiration.' We aim to contribute to the Games' success and the building of a peaceful, better world by creating comfortable spaces that convey Japan's excellence to visitors from around the world."
Organizing Committee Chairman Yoshiro Mori stated, "We are delighted to welcome this company, a professional in space creation, as an Official Supporter. Through our cooperation with them, we expect the Games to bring joy and excitement to many people through the design, planning, and construction of interior and exhibition spaces."
