P&G Company Gold Partner of the Tokyo Paralympic Games

The Procter & Gamble Company (Headquarters: Ohio, USA) signed a sponsorship agreement with the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee on August 24, becoming a Gold Partner of the Tokyo Paralympics.
The company has been a Worldwide Olympic Partner since 2010.

The agreement covers personal care and household care products.

Stanislav Besera, President of P&G Japan, commented: "For many years, we have promoted 'Diversity & Inclusion' as a management strategy, recognizing and leveraging individual differences. We hope this agreement will serve as an opportunity to foster an inclusive society. We will contribute not only to the Olympics but also through our 'Official Sponsor of Moms' campaign, which supports Paralympic athletes and their families."

The company has been running its global "Official Sponsor of Moms" campaign (known internationally as "Thank You, Mom") since the 2012 London Olympics.
This campaign embodies the hope that people will not only be moved by the athletes' performances but also, through the bonds between athletes and their families, rediscover the importance of mothers and families and feel renewed gratitude. It has garnered significant global response.

Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee President Yoshiro Mori commented, "As a Worldwide Olympic Partner, we are very encouraged and delighted to have the support of this company, which has supported the Olympics and athletes and their families. This is a great boost for Tokyo 2020 as we aim to further energize the Paralympic Movement."
