ECC, which operates language schools and provides language training programs, signed a sponsorship agreement with the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee on October 3rd, becoming an Official Supporter of Tokyo 2020.
The contract category is "Offline Language Training Services."
President Katsumi Yamaguchi commented, "Based on our philosophy of 'cultivating talent capable of thriving in the international community,' we support individuals who strive globally and challenge their own potential. Through language education for the Tokyo Games, we aim to support athletes, sports operations, and cultural activities, while contributing to international exchange and world peace."
Organizing Committee Chairman Yoshiro Mori stated, "Since its founding in 1962, the company has cultivated 'people' through language learning, striving to develop talent with modern sensibilities and international awareness. We expect them to be a strong supporter at the Tokyo Games, helping many people reaffirm the importance of diversity and harmony—one of the Games' visions—and making it an opportunity to realize an inclusive society."
