"Kirin Challenge Cup 2018" Targeting "New Soccer Fans" Launches Twitter Campaign

Kirin, the official partner of the Japan National Football Team, launched the Twitter campaign "#EnjoyJapanNationalTeamMatchesWithZeroKnowledge" during the five matches of the "Kirin Challenge Cup 2018" starting in September, targeting "new soccer fans."

This social live event features knowledgeable celebrities answering questions in real-time during matches for people who want to get excited about the game together, even if they don't know much about soccer.
For the opening match against Costa Rica on September 11th, talent Satomi Shigemori represented the "Zero-Knowledge Team" while talent JOY represented the "Knowledge Pro Team." The event took place on the official account ( https://twitter.com/kirin_soccer_nc ).

To participate, follow the official account and tweet soccer-related questions with the hashtag "#EnjoyJapanNationalTeamMatchesWithZeroKnowledge". To encourage core supporters to join, answers to the questions are also being solicited simultaneously.
Everyone whose question or answer was featured on the official account received a replica of the Japan national team home jersey. Additionally, 50 participants who submitted questions or answers were randomly selected to receive Kirin products.

For the second match against Panama (October 12), model Maki Nishiyama and former Japan national team player Akihiro Nagashima appeared to liven up the event. For the third match against Uruguay (October 16), former AKB48 member Mai Oshima and comedian Takashi Imoto from the duo License made appearances.
