Okumura Group Broadcasts second installment of series CM featuring Aoi Morikawa

Construction company Okumura-gumi has newly produced a corporate CM titled "I Love Construction" (3 episodes total) and a series CM featuring actress Aoi Morikawa titled "Construction LOVE Okumura Kumi" (3 episodes total). These will begin airing during the broadcast of the "38th Osaka International Women's Marathon" (held January 27th), which the company sponsors, on Kansai TV's national network.

The "Okumura Kumi" series, depicting the growth of a new employee who loves construction played by Morikawa, has had four episodes produced so far. This Season 2 will feature episodes 5 through 7.
Now in her second year as a working professional, "Okumura Kumi"—previously a new employee—struggles with questions and technical jargon from workers on construction sites. Yet, she experiences the satisfaction of completing her first project, deepening her passion for construction as a site supervisor.
Continuing from the previous season, the theme song is the original track "Let's Go! Shall We Go? Let's Go!" written and composed by singer-songwriter Pistol Takehara.

Morikawa commented, "Okumura Kumi grows daily with support from her seniors and partner companies. Revisiting the filming location, seeing the exposed steel frames and heavy machinery transformed into a magnificent logistics warehouse, I was struck anew by the incredible nature of construction work. This time, there's also a story involving a new character, 'Tsuchiki-kun, the civil engineering colleague from the same year,' so please be sure to watch."

The "I Love Construction." edition, titled directly from the corporate message, embodies the company's founding principles of "sound management" and "honest construction." It expresses the desire to take responsibility for what they build, seeing it through to the end of its useful life. Above all, it conveys the commitment to valuing the "people" – the employees and those on the front lines.
Following last year's concept commercials, three new editions were produced: "Okumura's Strengths: Civil Engineering/Shield," "Seismic Isolation/Lighthouse Lens," and "Women's Empowerment." These too depict employees at work in a documentary style.
