The three parties have previously implemented measures and initiatives to revitalize Japan's mid-sized and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) and enhance their brand value. This project stems from the reality that Japan has a low proportion of women in management positions compared to other major global economies, with particularly slow progress in women's advancement within mid-sized and SMEs.
By spotlighting companies where women thrive, they aim to attract top talent.

The participating companies span diverse industries including food, transportation, finance, fashion, construction, and cleaning services. The web portal features thumbnail posters using visuals of female employees appearing in the articles. Clicking through to the article pages introduces each woman's journey to her role, her approach, her passion, and her sense of fulfillment. "Twenty stories, one of a kind in the world."

A full-page color advertisement announcing the content appeared in the March 18 morning edition of the Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
The tagline reads: "We've been working long before anyone talked about women's advancement."
A special feature allows readers to view the articles by holding the Nikkei AR smartphone app over the "Women in [Field]" logo in the newspaper.
