Dentsu Inc. Acquires Worldwide Format Sales Rights and Sponsor Sales Rights for "Cardcaptor Sakura Exhibition: The Enchanted Museum"

Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshihiro Yamamoto) is participating in the production committee (※1) for "Cardcaptor Sakura Exhibition: The Enchanted Museum" (hereinafter "the Exhibition"), focusing on entertainment content. Dentsu has now secured the worldwide format sales rights (※2) and sponsorship sales rights for the Exhibition, including Japan.
"Cardcaptor Sakura" (hereinafter "the work") is a manga series serialized in the monthly girls' manga magazine "Nakayoshi" from 1996 to 2000. In 2016, a new serialization, "Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc," began after a 16-year hiatus. The anime adaptation started airing in 2018, cementing its status as a beloved work cherished by fans across generations. The exhibition will feature displays of the battle costumes appearing in the work, alongside valuable original artwork and reproduction artwork drawn by the original creators, CLAMP.
The Tokyo exhibition, held from October 26, 2018, to January 3, 2019, attracted approximately 140,000 visitors. Following this, the Osaka exhibition will be held at Hirakata Park from Saturday, June 8, 2019, to Sunday, September 15, 2019.
This work has been translated into multiple languages and read in over 15 countries, with fans spanning Asia and the entire world. Our company will collaborate with group companies both domestically and internationally, leveraging format sales rights and sponsorship sales rights to provide services that create and maximize marketing opportunities for companies, cultural institutions, entertainment facilities, and others in various countries.
