Creating New Growth Opportunities with Business Accelerator "Plug and Play Japan" and Others

Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshihiro Yamamoto) will open "engawa KYOTO" in the Shijo Karasuma area of Kyoto on July 22, 2019. This facility will serve as a hub supporting innovation for individuals, companies, and society.

"engawa KYOTO" is a facility that supports business creation to become the future vitality of Japan. It connects individuals and companies gathering there, using membership-based coworking and shared office functions as its platform.

At this facility, Dentsu Inc. and external partners will collaborate to provide members with various programs creating growth opportunities for individuals, companies, and society. These include corporate matching, entrepreneur training/talent discovery programs, and new business development workshops. Additionally, alongside various partner companies—centered around Plug and Play Japan Inc. (※), a world-class business accelerator supporting corporate growth acceleration—we will support startup growth. Concurrently, by providing resources and solutions in marketing and branding cultivated by the Dentsu Group Inc., we will support individuals' work styles, entrepreneurship, corporate new ventures, and the acceleration of startup businesses.

Engawa (veranda) is the boundary where inside and outside meet, a border where self and other blend together. We expressed this boundary with a single-stroke logo where colors beautifully blend.
