On July 5, the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee announced it will host "Tokyo 2020 Live Sites" at 29 venues nationwide during the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, co-hosted with local governments.
At these Live Sites, everyone can enjoy the competitions and share in the excitement and thrill of the Games through live broadcasts on large screens outside the competition venues.
In addition to the 11 venues announced in April, co-hosted with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (including Yoyogi Park, Inokashira Park, and the site in front of Takanawa Gateway Station), 18 new venues co-hosted with relevant local governments where competition venues are located have been added.
