[Announcement] "One Friday, Inside LINE" A one-scene drama unfolding entirely within LINE Broadcast date set for September 13!

The romantic comedy drama "One Friday, Inside LINE," depicting the friendship of four women unfolding within LINE, will air on TOKYO MX on September 13. This one-location drama plays out entirely within a LINE chat room. By using LINE's "speech bubble text" as dialogue, it develops the story at the uniquely fast pace characteristic of SNS communication. The screen remains fixed on the group LINE chat throughout, creating a groundbreaking format never seen before.

It features LINE-specific moments everyone has experienced at least once, like typos and accidental messages sent to the wrong group. A new story unfolds within the modern-day closed space of a group LINE chat. The drama also utilizes the feature allowing music sharing within the chat room, making music a key element in the story's development.

Comment from Rie Takahashi

This drama feels like you're peeking at someone's actual phone, and I'm really looking forward to its completion. I personally love the fast-paced exchanges in real LINE chats, often sending just one-word messages myself. I think this drama captures that unique rhythm of LINE conversations and makes great use of its various features. Also, Chihiro has such a straightforward personality. I think it's precisely because she's in this group with the other three that she can express her feelings so honestly. I really hope you'll watch the girls' conversations happening in that LINE chat room—where you wonder, "Is it okay to peek? Or is it wrong?"—so typical of women in their 20s!
