On September 4, the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee launched a Twitter campaign to share the second installment of its "Cheers for Tokyo 2020 from Space!" project, "G-SATELLITE to Space," with a wider audience.
The "Cheers for Tokyo 2020 from Space!" project is part of the " ONE TEAM PROJECT " designed to energize the Games. This project features leading Japanese creators and innovators sharing their thoughts on the Games in various creative ways.
"G-SATELLITE to Space" was announced in May as the second installment of the "Cheer" initiative within this project.

This campaign involves tweeting your support for the Games on Twitter with the hashtag "#GundamTogetherTokyo2020Cheer". Ten winners will receive a personalized video message via Twitter DM, either from Amuro Ray or Char Aznable, the pilots of Gundam and Char's Zaku respectively, urging support for the Games. These messages will be loaded onto the "G-SATELLITE" small satellite scheduled for launch into space after March 2020. or Char Aznable, calling for support for the Games.

The application period runs until October 15. Applicants must follow the Tokyo 2020 Twitter account (@Tokyo2020jp) and not delete their support tweet until after the direct message delivery period (scheduled for April to June 2020) to be eligible for selection.
