Dentsu Inc. and Link and Motivation will launch the multi-industry joint internship program "engawa young academy" at engawa KYOTO (*) in Shijo Karasuma, Kyoto, starting October 12. The program aims to create long-term connections between students and companies and support student growth, based on the concept "Let's co-create starting with people development."
Running monthly through February 2020, the program brings together students primarily from Kyoto universities with mentors from six companies: Shimadzu Corporation, Sekisui House, Japan Tobacco Inc., Panasonic, Mizuho Financial Group, and Dentsu Inc.
This program is jointly operated by Dentsu Inc. and Link and Motivation, structured around Dentsu Inc.'s expertise in idea generation and Link and Motivation's expertise in human resource development. Together with mentors from the six companies above, who share the vision of nurturing talent to support Japan's new growth beyond just corporations, the program aims to stimulate and broaden the horizons of each motivated student. Through diverse programs designed to hone qualities as business leaders and innovators via business idea creation, it aims to support growth and become a model case for new student-corporate engagement.
