Boss "Earth Survey Series" CM #71 Hollywood Star, Renowned Supporting Actor, and Gal Model Co-Star

Suntory Beverage & Food International began airing the 71st installment of its "Earth Exploration Series" TV commercial for canned coffee "Boss" featuring Hollywood actor Tommy Lee Jones, titled "Alien Jones: Fishing Port," on February 4.

In this series of commercials, Alien Jones, who came from a certain planet, experiences various occupations as an Earthling while investigating the unknown planet Earth.
Each episode features BOSS, "the partner of working people," sending encouragement to all workers based on Jones' reflections after experiencing each job.

This installment takes place at Ishinomaki Fishing Port in Miyagi Prefecture. Escaping the unusually chaotic Tokyo lately, Jones begins working at the fish market, where he meets a senior colleague (actor Ken Mitsuishi) who warmly welcomes the newcomer. Jones is deeply moved by the senior's pride in working hard with both feet firmly planted in this town, no matter what the world is like.
Watching fishing boats depart at dawn, Jones drinks with his senior colleague and Boss, reporting, "Places on this planet outside of Tokyo don't seem to be losing out this year either."

Talent Yuki Poyo also appears as a market colleague. Despite the unusual combination of a Hollywood actor, a renowned Japanese supporting actor, and a popular gal model, the result feels natural, hinting at the presence of the big event of 2020 in the background.
