Ezaki Glico launched a revamped version of its long-selling product "Cafe Ore" on March 16, marking its 41st year since release.
To coincide with this, the company will begin airing a new TV commercial titled "What Your Brain Craves," featuring actress Emi Takei as the image character, starting on the 20th.

　

　

The renewal enhances the flavor to highlight the natural sweetness of fresh milk and refreshes the packaging with a simple, stylish design.
In the commercial, Takei is working in an office when she spots a "Cafe Au Lait" she plans to drink later. She tries to focus on her work, but her brain craves it, making her desperate to drink it right now. Images of coffee and fresh milk blending together fill her mind, and her thoughts become completely consumed by Cafe Au Lait. The next moment, she grabs the Cafe Au Lait and starts drinking it eagerly, her face filling the screen as she revels in its deliciousness.

In an interview, Mr. Takei stated, "Since I drank café au lait with my family from a young age, I'm thrilled to appear in the commercial. There were challenging scenes like 'Feel it more with your brain,' but filming was enjoyable." Regarding the new product, he commented, "I feel its evolution to suit the times, like recent health trends, is precisely because it has been loved by so many people for so long. I really hope everyone will try it."

　

To commemorate the relaunch and commercial broadcast, the company is running a "Cafe Au Lait Full Refund Campaign." Participants who post their thoughts on the new product along with a product image on Twitter will be entered into a drawing for Amazon gift cards or LINE Points.
