Special Program "J-WAVE SPECIAL SHORT SHORT" Broadcast Confirmed Short stories by Takuma Takasaki brought to life through readings by a stellar cast

J-WAVE (81.3FM) will broadcast the special program "J-WAVE SPECIAL SHORT SHORT" on Monday, May 4 (a national holiday) from 6:00 PM to 8:55 PM. Produced entirely remotely to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the program features a cast of distinguished performers—Yukino Kishii, Noriko Eguchi, Hana Kuroki, and Kanji Furudate—reading short stories set in the fictional bar "SHORT SHORT," crafted by Creative Director Takuma Takasaki (Dentsu Inc.). Additionally, in a short short narrated by Takeru Sato, Shigeru Kishida (of the band Quruli) provides the music. The program concludes with a remote talk featuring Hana Kuroki and Ikuko Harada (of the band Clammbon).

Takasaki, who spearheaded the project, stated: "The entertainment industry is facing tremendous hardship these days. Not only actors and artists, but also many people like live event staff are being greatly affected. And there's significant anxiety about how long this will last.
Amidst this, conversations with colleagues led us to realize that radio programs and dramas can be produced remotely. We can create them without compromising quality. Precisely because of this situation, we decided to challenge ourselves with this program, believing it allows us to do things we haven't done before.
I felt strongly that we must create something to pioneer a new work style. I want to share the remote recording methods we used this time as an experience and challenge with as many people as possible."
