The name "JP CAST" represents "JP" for Japan Post Group and expresses a broadcasting station where all "people"—including employees and customers—become "cast members." It embodies the desire to convey the real face of Japan Post Group through its own words.
The themes covered are diverse, featuring articles spanning various layers from management to the front lines. This includes the Japan Post Group's vision for the future—such as innovations in logistics, new technologies, and the challenge of achieving carbon neutrality—alongside the passionate and mission-driven employees and the unique charms of post offices nationwide, cultivated alongside their communities. "JP CAST" aims to communicate the multifaceted nature of post offices, which continue to stand by their customers.
Starting in February, a special feature series is underway where prominent figures share their memories and experiences with post offices. Through multiple perspectives—including former postal workers, everyday customers, and cultural figures—we rediscover the appeal and significance of the Japan Post Group and its post offices.
