The "Fugaku Thirty-Six Project" website
The National Council for Mount Fuji's World Heritage Status is implementing the "Fugaku Thirty-Six Project" to preserve Mount Fuji as a World Cultural Heritage site.
This project collects donations for the Mount Fuji Fund, operated by the National Council for Designating Mount Fuji as a World Heritage Site. These funds are used for conservation efforts and awareness campaigns. Launched in July 2013, the project initially advanced through six labels: "T-shirts," "Books," "Products," "Sweets," "Music," and "Challenges." In January this year, "Kanpai!" was added, followed by a "Music Festival" on February 23rd, known as Fuji-san Day (223). Inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's ukiyo-e series "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji," each label bears the prefix "Fugaku Sanjuroku" (Thirty-six Views of Fuji), compiling 36 distinct content items. A portion of sales from each label will be donated.
The eight labels are as follows:
① Fugaku Sanjūroku-satsu (Implementing Body = Kadokawa Group)
② Fugaku Sanjūroku Kyoku (Implementing Entity = TOKYO FM)
③ Thirty-Six Fuji Products (Selection: Yu Yamada)
④ Thirty-Six Fuji Sweets (Implemented by: 47CLUB Inc.)
⑤ Thirty-Six Fuji T-Shirts (Implemented by Kume Sen-i and 47CLUB Inc.)
⑥ Thirty-Six Fuji Challenges (Implemented by: Just Giving)
⑦Fuji Thirty-Six Cheers! (Organized by: Restaurants and bars related to "Fuji")
