The 9th JACE Event Awards: Grand Prize - Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award (Japan Event Grand Prize) was awarded to "Voice Watch".
The Japan Association for the Promotion of the Event Industry (JACE) held the 9th JACE Event Awards Presentation and Ceremony at Toranomon Hills Forum on June 16.
This award system recognizes events held domestically and internationally, honoring their economic ripple effects, increased visitor and exchange populations for the region, effectiveness in promoting Japan's appeal overseas, and the technology and creativity that will influence future events.
From entries held domestically and internationally in 2022, nine works were selected for Excellence Awards (category awards). Among these nine, "Voice Watch supported by Toyota Mobility Foundation" won the Grand Prize: Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award (Japan Event Grand Prize).

Voice Watch supported by Toyota Mobility Foundation
[Organizer] Toyota Mobility Foundation
Developed the world's first live commentary AI enabling approximately 200 million visually impaired people globally to watch races. Automatically generates race commentary audio, realizing a new motorsports viewing experience where races are "heard." Implemented at Japan's largest endurance race, the "Super Taikyu Series," held at Suzuka Circuit and Okayama International Circuit. Also conducted trials at children's sports events.

Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Garden's "Forest Encountering the Life of the Earth" Project Solving Public Relations Challenges for Administrative Facilities
[Organizer] Nagoya City Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens
Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens and Brother Industries signed a "Public Relations Partnership Agreement." Brother Industries enabled broad publicity by donating promotional materials, including advertising production, media placements, and event implementation. In 2022, capitalizing on the birth of an Asian elephant, they released documentary videos and newspaper ads promoting understanding of "species conservation," and also held a naming ceremony for the baby elephant.
