This book is co-authored by Mr. Yoshikazu Ohtaka and Mr. Yoshifumi Matsuno, event production professionals and members of Dentsu Live Inc.'s internal project "Sustainable Event Research Group," and Mr. Ryuichiro Nishizaki, founder and operator of the "Sustainable Event Network (SEN)" based in the Netherlands.

[About the Author]

Dentsu Live Inc.
Since joining Dentsu Live Inc. (formerly Dentsu Tech), he has been involved in large-scale event space promotions for motor shows, sports events, and expo pavilions both domestically and internationally. With the theme "Making Sustainable Events the Norm," he launched an internal sustainability project team in 2022. The following year, 2023, he established the Sustainable Event Council with five event companies, actively promoting guidelines, media placements, and webinar presentations both inside and outside the company. In 2024, he is expanding his activities further, leading a working group aiming to standardize CO2 emissions calculations for events within the industry.

Dentsu Live Inc.
After working in production at an exhibition company, he joined Dentsu Live Inc. (formerly Dentsu Tech). He is involved in space production centered on corporate communications, including showrooms, private shows, trade fairs, and expositions. He participates in an internal project team promoting sustainability, striving to foster a sustainability mindset both within and outside the company through the formulation of sustainability-conscious event guidelines and the implementation of solutions.

Residing in the Netherlands. Founder and operator of the Sustainable Event Network (SEN), dedicated to making the entire event industry sustainable. Leveraging experience from a long-established travel company handling numerous domestic and international incentive trips, award ceremonies, meetings, and other MICE projects, he aims to achieve industry-wide sustainability by addressing identified challenges and utilizing established networks.
