Dentsu Creative Pictures Inc. Launches Creator Management Team "EIGASHA"

Dentsu Creative Pictures Inc. launched 'EIGASHA' on Wednesday, March 5, to enhance its creative competitiveness. EIGASHA will manage and produce creators active in various fields, including those who originated from the company. The venture launched with five creators: former Dentsu filmmakers and video directors Shuto Hashizume and Daisuke Kobayashi, alongside directors Takuya Uchiyama, Shuichi Okita, and Natsuki Seta, who are gaining attention in the film industry.

EIGASHA

Dentsu Inc. Eiga-sha, which has continuously produced television commercials since its founding, has nurtured numerous renowned video directors. Many of the TV commercials they planned and directed are still talked about today, having moved viewers and colored their era.

EIGASHA returns to the core strength of Dentsu Inc. Eiga-sha's video directors: the "technique of replacing logic with emotion." Together with creators possessing planning and directing skills that address client challenges and societal needs, EIGASHA will deliver numerous high-quality, emotionally resonant pieces of content to the world.

Shuto Hashihara (映像ディレクター)
Joined Dentsu Inc. Creative X in 2016. Left the company in 2024. Won Gold in the Creative Innovation category (2020) and Film category (2024) at the ACC TOKYO CREATIVITY AWARDS.

Daisuke Kobayashi (映像ディレクター)
Joined Dentsu Tech in 2005. Transferred to Dentsu Creative X in 2010. Became independent in 2017. Won the Grand Prize at the 1st Pocket Film Festival. Selected as a Jury Recommended Work in the Entertainment Division at the 16th Japan Media Arts Festival.

Takuya Uchiyama (Film Director)
Made his theatrical feature film debut with "Sasaki, In, My Mine" (2020). Received the 2020 Shindo Kaneto Award and the New Director Award at the 42nd Yokohama Film Festival. Continued to gain attention through various short films and advertising videos, being selected as one of "100 People Who Will Change Japan in 2021". His latest work, "Young Strangers," will be released in 2024.

Shuichi Okita (Okita Shūichi) Film Director
Born in 1977 in Saitama Prefecture. After independently producing short films, he made his feature film debut with "This Wonderful World" (2006). Major directorial works include: "The Chef of the Antarctic" (2009), "Woodpecker and Rain" (2012), "Yokomichi Yonosuke" (2013), "Going to See the Waterfall" (2014), "Mohican Returns Home" (2016), "Where Mori Lives" (2018), "Ora Ora de Hitori Igumo" (2020) "Kids Don't Understand" (2021), and "The Fish Child" (2022). He also directs television dramas like "The 0.5 Man" (2023) and music videos.

Natsuki Seta (Seta Natsuki) Film Director
Born in Osaka Prefecture. After completing graduate studies at Yokohama National University's Graduate School of Environment and Information Sciences, she graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts' Graduate School of Film and New Media. She made her commercial feature film debut with "Liar Me-kun and Broken Ma-chan" (2011). She directs films, dramas, commercials, and music videos. Her latest work, "Diary of a Different Country," was released in 2024.
