Dentsu Inc. Launches "Sports Value Creation Theory" Course for Working Professionals in Graduate School at University of Tsukuba

Dentsu Inc., in collaboration with the University of Tsukuba, will launch the "Sports Value Creation Theory" course on October 1st. This course provides working professionals enrolled in graduate programs with practical knowledge and expertise in the sports business.

As a participant in the " Sports and Wellness City Creation Consortium " established by the university, Dentsu will provide its long-cultivated practical knowledge and expertise in sports business through its " Sports Future Research Institute," launched this July.

The course aims to help participants understand various functions within sports business and acquire the fundamentals necessary for producing sports events. Beyond systematically covering sports business fundamentals, it seeks to cultivate practical planning skills that consider societal connections. This is achieved by exploring themes like fan engagement and creating social value, thereby comprehensively examining the "power of sports to move people's hearts."

Instructors are company employees working on the front lines of sports business. The program will be conducted in an omnibus format, incorporating case studies and workshops.
