"Kanpo-san" CM: 12th Installment Education Insurance "Hajime no Kanpo"

Kanpo Life Insurance held a press conference for its new educational insurance product "Hajime no Kanpo" on March 17 at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo in Chiyoda Ward. President Masami Ishii stated, "We developed educational insurance in 1971, and it has since become Kanpo Life's flagship product with a long history. This is our first new product in ten years, including the public corporation era, and we intend to put significant effort into it." The insurance features a prenatal enrollment system and higher savings efficiency compared to previous products, enabling more effective preparation of educational funds. It will go on sale starting April 2nd.

The "Magic" edition features V6's Yoshihiko Inohara, who has served as the image character "Kanpo-san" since 2007. Kanpo-san visits a family with a newborn baby, introducing the new insurance product while entertaining them with magic. This 12th commercial featuring Inohara began airing on March 21.

Inohara appeared at the venue wearing the company's uniform. He expressed his enthusiasm for playing Kanpo-san and his joy at becoming a familiar face, stating, "I want to deliver the smiles of the (real) Kanpo-san I met at my local post office directly to people nationwide. Now, even when I go to remote islands, people sometimes call out to me by my character's name."

Aligning with the concept of "a new educational insurance supporting children's dreams," elementary school magician Madoka-chan and kid dancer Sō Uchida took the stage. They performed magic and breakdancing. Impressed by their adult-level performances, Inohara remarked, "Seeing children work so hard brings tears to my eyes. We adults want to cherish and watch over them." To commemorate the insurance launch, a campaign offering prizes like home appliances and catalog gifts will run from April 2 to May 30.
