Dentsu Creative Pictures Inc. Produces Short Film "......overcome with overflowing..."

Dentsu Creative Pictures Inc. has produced the short film “......overcome with あふれた..,” starring Yu Imou and featuring Honami Sato and Kosuke Toyohara. The film will be submitted to film festivals both in Japan and abroad, with a theatrical release scheduled for around fall 2026, primarily in art-house theaters.

The film was shot entirely with the "FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55," with equipment support provided by Fujifilm Imaging Systems. The "GFX ETERNA 55," released by Fujifilm in October 2025, is the company’s first dedicated video camera for film production and features a large-format sensor (*).

*A large-format image sensor with a diagonal of 54.8 mm (43.8 mm wide × 32.9 mm tall), offering approximately 1.7 times the surface area of a 35mm film frame.

This project was produced in 2025 as a preliminary initiative to explore the possibilities of visual expression in “large-format photography”—an area where our company (Dentsu Creative Pictures Inc.) will focus its efforts in 2026. It was created for the purpose of internal research and verification and has been released exclusively within the company.

Our mission is to move the hearts of many people and have a positive impact on society by creating diverse “experiences.” We believe that, in addition to the film’s artistic merit and the quality of its visual expression, it has the potential to gently transform the way people view others. Therefore, we have decided to submit it to film festivals both domestically and internationally and release it in theaters in 2026.

We hope that people around the world who struggle with self-expression will watch this film and find the courage to take that first step.
