"Aquarius" Campaign launch featuring Honda as main athlete

Aquarius, the official sports drink of the FIFA World Cup, launched a campaign featuring soccer player Keisuke Honda under the vision 'LIVE BETTER' = "Become a better version of yourself through challenge." The first installment, the new TV commercial "W Honda," began airing on April 16.

The commercial depicts two Honda players competing for the ball while simultaneously shooting and scoring a goal. This concept plays on the dual meaning of "Honda" (two players) and "W Charge" (Aquarius's dual electrolyte and amino acid hydration).

 

The campaign includes limited-time products like Honda-designed packaging and various initiatives with the communication app "LINE".

From April 8th through the duration of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, an official LINE account will be launched. It will share campaign information and updates on Honda to build excitement for the tournament. Additionally, a giveaway campaign will offer exclusive Aquarius LINE stamps featuring Honda and others.
