The Asahi Shimbun published numerous collaborative advertisements featuring the protagonist Lucius in its April 26th edition, coinciding with the opening day of the film "Thermae Romae II."
The print edition featured full-page color sponsorships from the film's production committee at the top, followed by Japan Gateway, Tsumiki (Filmarks), Johnson & Johnson, Oedo Onsen Monogatari, Loft, Megane Super, Next, and TOTO. These ads prominently displayed visuals combining products or services with Lucius, using catchphrases reminiscent of the film's dialogue.
Additionally, on the television front, Fuji Television, which aired the previous film on the same day, and Kerorin (Naikai Yakuhin), famous for its yellow tubs, ran special-format advertisements. On the 29th (Good Meat Day), the same committee and Ito Ham also placed full-page color advertisements.
