The Osaka Copywriters Club (OCC) announced the winners of the 2014 OCC Awards on May 25. Established in 1955, OCC is a fellowship organization for copywriters based in Osaka, dedicated to "improving advertising expression techniques." The award solicited entries for "Japan's Most Interesting Advertisement" published between April 2013 and March 2014. Winning works were selected by judges chosen through member voting. In the General Division, from a total of 470 entries, 2 OCC Club Awards, 1 Runner-up Club Award, 17 OCC Awards, and 2 MOP (Most Osaka Prize) Awards were selected. In the Newcomer Division, from 286 entries, 1 Grand Newcomer Award and 8 Newcomer Awards were chosen. The winning entries will be compiled and published in an annual yearbook. An awards ceremony and yearbook publication commemorative party are scheduled to be held in Osaka City at the end of November.
