The "Smartphone Application Development Technology Certification Exam" (hereinafter: Suma-kenhttps://spkentei.jp/ ), operated by D2C Inc., has been adopted by "Net Jinzai Bank ( https://www.netjinzaibank.jp/ )", an internet industry-specialized career transition support service operated by Cent Media, and began service provision on November 26.
"Suma-ken" is a certification exam for application development technology targeting iOS™ and Android™ OS. By clearly quantifying a developer's skill level through questions covering a broad range of app development technologies, it aims to serve as a benchmark for companies to appropriately evaluate developers and assign tasks commensurate with their individual capabilities.
Cent Media adopted "Suma-ken" to clarify the technical levels of smartphone-related engineers, whose demand is increasing. This aims to support more efficient recruitment activities for companies and job-hunting activities for "Net Jinzai Bank" registrants.
Regarding the adoption of "Smart Test," the company commented: "Traditionally, hiring engineers relied heavily on past experience, with no objective metrics to measure skill beyond reviewing resumes. 'Smart Test' enables the evaluation of objective skills regardless of experience. We believe it will serve as a valuable metric not only for identifying engineers active on the front lines but also when introducing candidates without practical experience to companies, or when HR personnel without engineering experience need to hire engineers. We believe that measuring skills with 'Smart Test' will broaden employment and career change opportunities."
