Pet Comics: Common Scenarios #2 "The Waiting Dog Who Won't Wait, and Shouldn't Be Made to Wait"

While out walking, I stopped by a convenience store,
leave my pet waiting outside,
then continue walking home after shopping.

Have you ever done that, or wanted to try it?
I've always admired that feeling of truly owning a pet.
But in reality, what awaits you is
"a dog barking at its owner trying to leave right before its eyes."
I, too, am no exception. I've tried several times to leave my beloved dog behind to run errands during walks, but met with sad eyes and barks, I couldn't bring myself to leave.

But think about this.
What if, while the owner looks away, a small child approaches saying "How cute~" and the pet bites the child's hand? What if a stranger takes away your precious pet?
We must understand that leaving pets waiting outside stores or elsewhere, even temporarily, can cause inconvenience and pose risks.

It's fine if shops have designated areas for pets to wait, but generally, I don't think it's a good idea to tie your pet up in front of a store and leave them there while you go inside.
In Japan, roughly one in four households currently keeps a pet (dog or cat). However, not everyone in society necessarily loves pets.
For the sake of those around you, for your own sake, and for the sake of your precious pet, it's important to be mindful of how your daily actions affect others.

When you have a pet, there are many situations where you're unsure what's acceptable and what isn't. Even if you can't know everything from the start, learning step by step will help you build a wonderful life together with your pet.
And when you start thinking, "This is how I want to spend time with my pet!" and then ask, "So, what kind of services could make life with pets even more enjoyable?", all sorts of ideas will surely come to mind, making life with your pet even more fun.

Even the everyday moments you share with your pet can reveal so much when you take the time to reflect on them one by one.
